Re: Laser Scanning (Buying Certainty)
I do hope you checked with the author Phil.
(I think I linked to this previously in an older post somewhere too)
Here is a link to the page on the author's blog.
http://pptpractitioner.wordpress.com/20 ... certainty/
When you realise that this excellent school of thought came from someone completely outside of the surveying/scanning discipline it shows how far scanning has come and how it is recognised as being crucial to future workflows.
I love Shaun's term of "Whilst builts"

I wouldn't have said the author was completely outside of the industry.
Well done on cleaning up the "credits".
"Whilst-builts" is where it's at these days.

Re: Laser Scanning (Buying Certainty)
Sorry, you're right there Andy.
He is very much part of the industry, I meant survey/data capture industry.
He has only ever been a client of laser scan data captured by others. But of course as you know, his mentality is to get as much knowledge about as much tech that can help the processes he uses.
