Will these compress over time? It'd be a shame to eliminate the vibration only to discover the pads had compressed during the scan.

Do you use the circular: 2.5" diameter, 0.5" Thick, 50 Duro? Do you add more weight to the tripode, like sandbag?

Hi,
You can use smaller and thiner models (0,25" thickness is ok).
They really helped me on vibrating platforms.
I didn't have to add extra weight.
