Hi,
The old total station is nearly 12 years so time for an upgrade.
I firstly looked at a trimble sx12 so i could scan the odd structure further away but having to use a camera instead of an ocular eyepiece to determine seperate points and the weight of the kit.
That with yet another new software to learn i decided to sick with my ts brand : Sokkia.
I bought 2 systems : one Sokkia 1201 1" robotic with hybrid GCX3 gnss to do my classic surveying work and construction staking but with this 1" i can also deliver services to align machines etc.
I bought a seccond manual total station Sokkia cx-105 which has reflectorless capabilities up to 2000m for high voltage power lines.
Because alll is Sokkia and i'm used to the software i can put them in action as from tomorrow. No learning curves, just deliver precise and correct data but in a more productive and faster way.

What machines do you typically align?
