Hello All,
I have the Surphaser 25HSX, which is an 11kg behemoth.
I see that EZ jib was quite popular, but it seems it is not in production anymore.
The Pro-Aim Kite 22 seems to have a good balance between payload, reach, assembly time and cost. However, it doesn't have a parallel arm to lock the camera tilt, a wire is used. I'm unsure of the crane's stability while scanning and whether a mast would be a better solution by trading more reach for stability. Pro-Aim Wave 10'Ft seems to be the ideal solution, but it's 2m reach from the pivot point is not worth it.

Appreciate it if you could share your experience.
Thanks
Jib Crane for Heavy Scanner

If it possible test it before buy it you will have problems with vibrations in scans I think.

Will need to buy overseas. I don't have a chance to test. Maybe a 6m mast can be a better option.

Re: Jib Crane for Heavy Scanner
I have 6meters from fireco Italian company, scanner has vibrations at 6m.
If you want to mount it needs ropes to stabilise it complicated.

Re: Jib Crane for Heavy Scanner
6 ton load for a 50lbs scanner seems excessive.
Would be nice though.
