Deleting reflective noise/points

Post by Adyer »

Ive been using RW for about 6 months now after an X7 purchase - long time Scene user before where it was extremely easy to remove reflective data (although it did take an age to save after)

Can anyone explain on the best/easiest/quickest way to do this this?

Id like to have a group for all external scans and remove the reflections through and windows and vice versa for internal scans.

Ive read a few posts on here with different ways but just cant get my head around it.

Thanks in advance

Have you looked at sampling the point cloud by intensity value? This may pick up on those reflective points

This is how I deal with reflective noise. The reflected points tend to have a very different intensity value so it filters out pretty easily.
