ABOUT SCAN & MODEL

We provide BIM, 3D Modelling, CAD, Visualization and Scan to BIM Services within the Surveying, Architectural, Engineering and Construction Industry.
We work alongside our partners, Project Surveyors based in Sydney, Australia, to provide high quality and accurate deliverables for our clients.

Role
- Producing Revit BIM models of existing structures from laser scanning (pointclouds), and traditional survey data.
- 2D plans, Elevations, Sections.
- Visualisation with renders, and walkthroughs/flythroughs.
- Creating families to improve in house library.

Essential skills

- Trained in use of Autodesk Revit & Autocad

Advantageous but not required as training will be provided

- Experience of using pointcloud data.
- Use of other software such as Microstation, Archicad, 3D Max, Navisworks, Photoshop.
- Use of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Use of surveying software Recap, Cyclone, Scene, Cloud compare, Cloudworx.
- Experience of creating Revit families.
- Knowledge of surveying practices.
- Knowledge of construction methods and materials.

We are looking for Revit/BIM modellers at all levels. From Graduate, mid-level up to BIM Manager.

We would also consider laser scanning technicians or surveyors who want to develop their BIM skills.
