Cyclone 2020

Post by dineshkimraj »

Good day All,
I have just installed Cyclone and Reg360 2020. From what I read in the Release Notes, we can't publish jetstream anymore. We currently have the Jetstream Enterprise and Jetstream Publisher Permanent Licenses. When I tried publishing in Reg360, both Jetstream and LGS options are greayed out (the release notes states that Jetstream publishing has been discontinued).
Does anyone know how I can remedy this?
Thanks
Dinesh

Also, our CCP has expired, so not how that affects anything. Although we do have the Jetstream Publisher permanent license.

The ability to publish to JetStream has always been in the license 'Cyclone JetStream PUBLISHER' which hasn't changed. Therefore it should still all work but it might that your CCP has expired?

Yes but this will have a CCP which will need to be updated so you can use this with the new 2020 software.

Just a bigggg marketing machine!!
dineshkimraj I advise you to wait some months A new global economic crisis rise up every new project will be shutdown. Then maybe Leica will give ccp for free :D . Wait 2 months maximum and you will see an other world.

You could probably do it by creating a virtual machine, however the CLM license manager will probably not support it

According to the release notes the license WITH A NEW CCP will automatically publish LGS versions now -and supposedly the add on features of Publisher Pro to Jetstream Enterprise (Geotags, Sitemaps, etc). Someone can correct me if I interprted that wrong. They're adding more functionality into Publisher Pro in REgister 360 -(Ability to publish out certain setups)
Guess Leica has earned enough from the last year of Publisher Pro sales (for the additional programming functionality of LGS) to now discontinue the first generation Jetstream Publisher and JSV format Completely?

You can dual boot into a second Windows installation, or contact your Leica rep to make at least one of your EID capable of running on a VM.
