You can reduce the aggressiveness of the filter in Cyclone/REG360 as you choose.
By the way.. this is not a feature. Its a F*** you 5 projects deep that all need to be re-exported. It's a glitch. fix it.

Well i think not the mixed pixel is the worst issue, that is helpful in lot of the cases. Rather then how recaps handles/not handles the images. If i recall correctly you can disable completelly the mixed pixel. I'm not sure currently.

But the main issue is that there is no standardized way of writing e57 everyone uses their solution especially when it comes to the image part. As a matter of fact i like the cubemaps.

Yes, there are several different ways of handling E57 export/import... it's a bit fragmented right now.

So im actually just running into this problem and found this post
In cyclone, i usually just export PTGs,
how would i adjust the aggressiveness of the filter in cyclone before exporting?
additionally, what am i aiming for when i filter, to avoid this issue with the black lines?

You need to change the filter "pre" import - you can find it within the settings tab under "filtering"
