Besides many extensions and improvements it contains the new worldwide unique SPACE WARP functions.
In the all new PointCab 3.8 you can generate precise orthophotos of angled and curved surfaces fast and extremely uncomplicated.
With just a few steps, it is possible to quickly and precisely unfold curved surfaces or surfaces that run diagonally to the view plane - so-called sloped sections - on a planar plane.
In addition it is now possible to import ReCap point clouds (with and without mirrorballs).

Nice tools.
Are the elevations:
-Assigned a scale (if desired)? This would also be very helpful if used for interiors.
-Able to be ungrouped (if wrapped around the building or used for interior elevations)?

Looks helpful. What formats can you export the unfolded orthos?

Re: PointCab has released new version 3.8
All sections/layouts are always with scale 1.0. These are Orthophotos of a point cloud so the points used should be corresponding to real world data. One can change the export unit, so if I set it to mm and import it my CAD as m, then the scale is of course 1000.
Perhaps I misunderstood your question?
In this case I recommend to set single sections for every facade/wall, then the position of these will be at the correct location as well in the CAD application.
