Cyclone 9.1.5; Nodal Ninja images batch import issues
Hi All,
according to the relaise notes of Cyclone 9.1.5 ist now has capabilities to import pano's generated with a Nodal Ninja beacked. I found this video showing how it should work;
youtu.be/
However when I try it myself Cyclone just finds 1 image out of 10. The steps I've done;
- I've made a database containing 10 scans
- I've a folder with 10 images
- I right-click on the scans folder and select "Import Panoramic Images"
- Select the correct folder in "Browse For Folder"
- Now the "Match Images to Scans"-window comes up. However after a seach it just finds 1 image instead of 10.
Can any of you explain me what I, might, do wrong here??
Thanks in advance, Wim

yeah it is a bit annoying, BUT once you get it working, it will work and is 10x faster than cubes.
You have to put one pano per folder, and name each folder.

Same with iStar when using the images/panos that have been processed in their own software.
If you have a folder full of photos and you are needing to create a folder for each one based on their file name or date then use a little app called files to folders (run it as admin). You can select all the photos, right click and select Files 2 Folders, click move each file to subfolders.... and it will move all your photos to their own folder which will be the name of the photo!

I have a similar problem. I know I've set it up right because some panoramas are recognized and come in. Whereas many do not. In particular, I get the messages if I just have one panorama in the folder and it tells me it can't find one (unless its one that was part of the good group). I can open the panorama and view no problem. It was generated with PTGui 12.9 - I've also tried to see if there is any issue by using an earlier version 12.1, that worked for all of them in an earlier phase of the same project.
Thoughts anyone? Appreciate your time.

I had many panoramas that would give me the "failed to find image" while loading error. Finally discovered that some of my pano's were not in the 2:1 ratio that cyclone wanted ...fixed the issue
