Hi all,
I'm new to point cloud processing and currently working in RiSCAN PRO 2.12.1 and I have one 90 degree angle scan (out of 22) that is not registering correctly.
When using manual assistance and trying to align with the points from 3 scans nearby I find that the angle of the resisting point cloud is the biggest issue. This might be an obvious answer, but how can I adjust the angle of the point cloud in this manual assistance section of automatic registration 2?
With the blue/yellow ring and arrow I can change the angle while horizontally it stays on the same level, but I need to adjust the angle of that plane just slightly for the point cloud to fit with my other registered clouds.
Any ideas on what I'm missing here?
Kind regards,
Klaske

You need to place horizontale aligned as good as can be.
Then MSA with all other locker and tilt Angle set at say 20 degrees and let it run. Distance at 0.5 m

It would be helpful in future updates if we can adjust the roll and pitch during Automatic Registration rather than just the yaw.

Is it possible to use the latest version of RiSCAN PRO (2.14.1) ? There are some bugfixes for tilted scans.KlaskevW wrote: ↑Fri Mar 04, 2022 8:58 am Hi all,
