Multihull Scanning

Post by Mike Annear »

Another hull scan completed with our Faro S70.
The colour from the standard onboard camera is pretty impressive.

Very nice Mike.

Does the onboard camera have HDR? If so, what is the variation in capture time to "normal" image capture?

Hi Mike,

I just got my Surphaser 25HSX and I am currently bidding to scan a 36m long multi-hull yacht.

This will be my first use of TLS scanners in the field, do you have any points I need to take care of? Also what is a practical incidence angle I should be utilizing?

Btw, my current registration arsenal is 6x 150mm target spheres, plus printed papers.

Cheers,

Akram
