Grrr !!!
I read somewhere else on this forum that HP had discontinued the David 3D scan software .
After doing a bit of research...it turns out to be true.
Though no mention on their webpage ....
https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaign/3Dsc ... rview.html
I have used this system for years, paid for numerous updates etc...and not even an email from HP !!
I am trying to see if I can get a permanent license, or a USB license, but I cant even find anyone to talk to.
If I go to the HP webpage, I get forwarded to a "Pay for Support" site... $5 bucks for an answer !!!
I finally found a phone number..(Philippines based support)...they had never heard of HP 3D Scan ....
This happened to me before with "Pointools", (Bentley bought it), T-Splines for Rhino 3D (Autodesk bought it)
Anyway....
Mike.

5$ for an answer. A reason to never ever buy anyting from hp again.
They just don't care Mike. It' s all about the $$$, not even their products anymore.

I started with the David Laser Scanner years ago and would do beta testing and stuff. The university where I teach bought a system before it went to HP and as far as I know it is still being used. However, I am not surprised.
Thanks for posting this.

This is my first post in the wild of the forums but its just to add my voice to the collective 'Grrrrr!' about this.
I still have the hardware but the software killed itself during an update and I couldnt get any answers either.
VV annoyiing..

I feel your pain...I also still have the hardware and USB key but I've had to let this go a long time ago and move on...it happens.
