Hello
I would like to know how many point is needed to detect a target (checkboard) in Register 360. Then I can calculate the maximal distance between my scan and my targets. The distance will be dependtly of the target's size too.
Thanks in advance
david

Re: checkboard / target detection
Cyclone Core - from memory - was 13 lines across the target (naturally angle to target has an impact).
The fitting algorithm in core and 360 is different. Core is way better for some reason.
6" targets, RTC medium - I tell the field crews ~ 15m is a good bet. You can get manual picks further than the auto find.

Hello
thanks.
when you say for a distance of 15m you are talking in what density of measurements ? less, medium or high ?
thanks in advance
