3cm at 150m is not so bad for such a cheap/fast scanner.landmeterbeuckx wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 1:01 pmRanging accuracy 3cm! No need for further investigationJason Warren wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 12:20 pm The Stonex X150 appears to be in the UK now....

Its probably in the 6mm at 10m just like the blk360. Looks cheaper than the blk so they might be a market for this type of scanner

What is the purpose of such a device? Stock piles? Ok those could be done.
A detailed measurement. Definately a no. Maybe i'm biased as a surveyor but if it's a false measurement it is better to not measure at all.
But hey, all want a piece of the pie, no matter what crap device they build and sell.

Re: Stonex X150 Laser Scanner - sneak peek
A quick look at the X150 data sheet on Stonex site shows it states a "Ranging accuracy up to 1cm" which as Leandre says is not bad for the money. Realistically, you'd need to see some sample data for various ranges and conditions to see what the accuracy and noise levels are like. I'd also be keen to see what the intensity returns are like as these can be weak on low end scanners. I've sent them an email asking for some samples.landmeterbeuckx wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 5:56 pmNot sure about the 3cm at 150m.
