The Angel oak tree

Post by scankukai »

Hi,

Here's a new tree in my collection: the Angel Oak in Charleston.
Scanning done by Dustin Manning.
We couldn't do closer positions due to severe restrictions.

It looks amazing,

I was amazed when we scanned this tree in brasil, if you are interested i can share this tree with you as well. It only had like 2 or 3 leaves, and had very strong branches. If you what kind of tree it is i'm interested to know what was it. :)

Visualised in potree, scanned with faro s130 if i recall correctly.

I really like your tree, it looks very clean.

Well, I invite you to load it in our ScanSap software :-) to get cool views.

This is really cool. Nice work. We are a landscape architecture firm and starting to explore lidar and laser scanning more and more. We're actually doing planning work for the Angel Oak public landscape and would love to touch base with you about this scan.
