An old article but still relevant.
"" Using the traditional techniques for the generation of these plan drawings (AutoCAD for the 2D drawings and the Leica Cloudworks plugin to import the point cloud from the scan), Andrea needed nearly 4-5 days to finish the work.
However, using Rhino, VisualARQ and Arena 4D plug-ins, the production of these drawings was finished in just a day and a half.""

Re: Rhino, VisualARQ and Arena 4D for Architects
Thanks for sharing Mike ...
you found one of my very very old articles ....
I'm glad it's still current, that was one of the first works ... Visualarq has improved a lot as well as Arena4d has improved a lot even if the management costs of the Veesus license have become much higher unfortunately.
Thanks and Merry Christmas to all

Really interesting stuff.
Mike, always been impressed with your work and wanted to give Rhino another go. I primarily use Revit/BricsCAD for AEC as-built modelling.
Andrea's article has convinced me to give it a shot. Do you chaps know of any good guides or people to follow on youtube?
