I am publishing a walkthrough for a client (as I have always done) but suddenly have the following errors:
Once published, I always open the viewer package to check there are no issues.
So I open the application:
and get asked to install missing components ?.
Clicking NO just closes the window and nothing further happens, meaning I have to launch the application again.
Clicking YES brings up the next dialogue:
So I go onto the microsoft website and download the latest installer version of .NET.
to which I am given the following:
So to sum up, Realworks wants me to install the "missing" .NET framework, but I can't install the missing framework because I already have the latest version.
I am in an indefinite error loop.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this (and NO, I am not going to uninstall and reinstall Realworks and/or Windows, as that is not a reasonable solution)

Re: Trimble Scan Explorer Viewer error
Hi Jared,
The solution for this, until the next release is to download a new version of the viewer executable from here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/16-ltRJ ... sp=sharing
Or contact us in KOREC Support for an alternative download method if you need it.
Unzip the file and replace the executable created by the Publisher function with the one downloaded. I'm afraid for the moment you will need to do this for each published project. Please let me know if this doesn't resolve the issue for you.
Cheers, Richard.

Re: Trimble Scan Explorer Viewer error
Thanks Richard.
That worked!
I am just scratching my head as to why this has suddenly happened. (perhaps due to some sort of windows update, which I despise by the way! Every time microsoft issues an "important update" (which by the way we have no choice in NOT allowing) it causes mayhem with installed software!)
I'm pretty sure my warranty on RW has expired, so won't be able to get the fix in the next version.
Looks like I'll be overwriting the default viewer executable for each project from now on...
Thanks again Richard
