Hello everyone,
Anyone knows how to export objects from Cyclone to PDMS without using Implant??
Exporting through PCF helps or no???
Thanks in advance

Hi Bernoulli,
PCF should help you to get some objects in but the cleanest way to get data into PDMS is via COE to Microstation and then using Implant with the resulting 3D DGN file.
If you want to create PDMS objects instead of geometry only objects then tracing using centre lines is the best method.
I hope this helps.
Kind regards
Luke

Completely agree with Scanman. This method has always worked well for us.
It is worth noting that AutoCad has the ability to import .coe and if you have 2009 you can import and export dgn files.
I have not tried this yet, it just depends on your preference between MicroStation and AutoCad.

If you don't see that there is nothing, then you are kidding yourself.

Hi! There's one more solution for converting objects - MCAD Interface Suite for PDMS. It allows to translate objects to AVEVA PDMS via different CAD formats.
http://www.unitec.de/process/solutions/mcad2pdms.html
... but a little bit too expensive=)
