Error when importing e57

Post by BelgiumLaser »

Hello,

I try to export an e57 from reg360 and then import it in cc. I get error " AN ERROR OCCURED WHILE LOADING "xx": THE THIRS PARTY LIBRARY IN CHARGE OF SAVING/LOADING THE FILE HAS TROWN AN EXCEPTION."
What can I do about it? I am trying to import the e57 to know if it's good but I can't test it.
Using cc 2.11.3 64 bit.
Thanks in advance.

Is there any special / foreign character in the file name or path?

If it's not the issue, can you maybe try with the latest 2.12.beta version?

Hello Daniel,

I tried now to copy the file to my desktop and when I import that, it seems to work. Good suggestion, thank you.
