I was watching this movie the other night, ‘Demonic’, by the same director as District 9 and Elysium. They use photogrammetry and laser scanning as part of the plot. I don’t wanna spoil it for anyone who wants to watch it, but thought it was interesting to see how it was being used.

Re: Photogrammetry in movies
We used to do a lot of scanning for the film industry, was generally long hours and had to be on call all hours.kpob46 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 27, 2021 4:51 am I was watching this movie the other night, ‘Demonic’, by the same director as District 9 and Elysium. Also, there is an Amazon series called 'The Expanse'. If you watch carefully in some scenes, you can see scan targets dotted around
