Hello;
I recently did a series of four scans. Two were at 1.6mm @10m and the other was 3.2mm @10m. The two finer detailed scans were exported as two files each, prefixed with .part2. I was able to register without these extra scans, and everything looked good. Now I am being told that there is an issue with my data. So obviously I need to do something with these, I assume I need to combine. I thought maybe just having them nearby the software automatically used them, but I guess not.
If anyone has info on this I would be thrilled! I am looking for more insight on this as well. It’s probably got something to do with file size limitations.
Thanks
Sean

Re: How to combine .part2 scans
Hi Sean,
higher resolution scans are split automatically into several files for easier processing. You can merge them, but it is not necessary. The registration will treat them automatically as one scan, as long as the scan position is the same for both parts. Please don't hesitate to contact me directly via email (c.held(at)zf-laser.com) or our support (support(at)zf-laser.com) if you need any further help.
Thank you Peyman for your assistance!
Best regards,
Chris

Re: How to combine .part2 scans
You have Dr. Rob in your Calgary office. When it comes to Z&F there is probably no better source than Chris and Dr. Rob. You have 2 leaders in Calgary plus Chris in Vancouver that know Z&F better than anyone.sean2me-2 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 6:18 am Hello;
