Faster S70 Workflow - Clustering?

Post by chirag_ARC »

Hi all,

We've been looking at faster on-site workflows with our S70. One of these is setting the cluster before each set of scan on a project. However when importing these into scene, the cluster setting isn't recognised (all the scans import as individual scans).

Am I missing something? Thought we were onto a clever way of further automating our workflow.

Would appreciate any help :)

Hi Chirag,

are you using the sd card transfer? It should preserve the project names and cluster structure. The drag & drop import does not.

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Ah I see. It's a little tricky unfortunately. We typically work on sites in different cities - so our workflow involves uploading data onto our local server and importing using drag and drop.

Is there a way to 'emulate' the SD card transfer?

To "emulate" the SD transfer, copy the whole SD in a folder, and in the Import tab of Scene use the last icon, something like "SD Transfer' to select this folder.

Hi,

There's no option for 'SD card transfer'. The last option is import webshare cloud?

It is in the project category. The last button is called "project transfer" and starts the project transfer task. In the first step you can select any folder that contains the content of a Focus SD card.
