I nutted it out last June, but haven't done it since and I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination. Here is the steps I sent to the guys who was trying to do it.
1. Open LFM
2. Use the second red grey wheel in the top left to switch to Gateway mode
3. Either make a new lfm for save the untitled one it has made
4. In the box on left right click on the redgrey wheel that’s named the same as your project and import to this project (recommend an e57) 5. Wait for that to import
6. Right click on the New group and select Generation setting
7. Setup all the boxes with required attributes (particularly the first 3 locaitons)
8. Press the dataset button. When using the ptxs I seem to have to pick each scan and force it to registered. Didn’t seem to need to with the e57.
Hope this is of some assistance.
Cheers
