We have developed the Undet for Revit solution because as building/site measurement services provider we know that working in Revit environment with big point cloud projects are inconvenient: complicated management, inadequate density... lagging during pan and zoom.
By developing Undet for Revit we've solved the following issues:
1. Eliminated lagging during pan and zoom of point clouds. Undet generates raster image views from point clouds directly in Revit, which are lighter than point cloud.
2. Provided the possibility to view of the point cloud outside the Revit view range.
3. Provided the possibility to save different point clouds view (coloring and density) in different Revit views (sections, floor plans, elevations)
4. Created attractive licensing pricing so you can easily increase the number of licenses when you need it.
As a bonus for those who are still working with RCS / RCP we implemented Recap point cloud cropping by an irregular polygon. The cropping tool is free to use even after „Undet for Revit“ the trial period.

Browser integration with Webshare is something Recap should have done from the start....even playing scan location markers in revit should be baked in but still zero tools within revit and recap...really frustrating to see the lack of integration between those two autodesk products
very slick though and pricing is not bad either

Great Video Marius...
We have been using this for some time now.
Very slick, simple to use and by far, it is much better than using native RCP/RCS files to use your point cloud in Revit.
