Deleted Points in Recap Visible in Revit
I've created an rcp in Recap and then used the delete tool to clean it up a bit. When I then import it into Revit the "deleted" points are still visible. Is there a solution to this problem?

Re: Deleted Points in Recap Visible in Revit
hi
if you put the points you do not want in a region, you can control this region in Revit via VG and turning them off.
I guess the other option is to export the RCS out again with the points deleted.
I have come across deleting points and then in Revit they are back again!

Hi James, thanks for your reply.
So the 'delete' tool actually means 'hide in Recap' then! And I don't want to export the cleaned rcp as this will unify it and I will lose the mirrorball functionality. Looks like I'll have to do the cleaning in another software then.

Re: Deleted Points in Recap Visible in Revit
I would not use the regions tool in recap
It has had HUGE performance impacts for RCP's in recap itself and also when referenced into Revit in my experience
Sometimes doing a save as is required to actually have the points deleted

Re: Deleted Points in Recap Visible in Revit
You can get rid of the deleted points by performing a "save as" operation and choose for "remove points".
