Here is a link that gives more information on the upcoming cyclone register360:

'the software is fast enough that it can take you from loading your scans to publishing a final deliverable in under five minutes."
They are very confident in their new update! I am looking forward to testing that 5 minute theory haha

Re: Leica Cyclone REGISTER 360
Having read that Spar3d.com article, I can see that this is a separate program to Cyclone - not a replacement, sort of a Cyclone Lite.
"However, there’s one big reason to use Cyclone REGISTER 360: speed. Khan says that the software is fast enough that it can take you from loading your scans to publishing a final deliverable in under five minutes. He also stressed that this is still a Cyclone product, so users can move data back and forth as the project (and the expertise of the user) dictates."
That's interesting, could you register in "Cyclone classic" and then open that project in "Cyclone REGISTER 360" so that you can export the data more rapidly and get the new reports? I'm currently spending a great deal of time exporting my point cloud and then re-importing it into RECAP, which more and more customers are requesting as their deliverable format. Any improvement in publishing time would be welcome.

Re: Leica Cyclone REGISTER 360
I would guess this is just the first of many changes we'll see to Cyclone in the near future. Importing speeds will get quicker, processing times will get shorter and point clouds will get richer and smoother to work with.Jamesrye wrote: ↑Fri Jun 16, 2017 9:02 am Having read that Spar3d.com article, I can see that this is a separate program to Cyclone - not a replacement, sort of a Cyclone Lite.

Re: Leica Cyclone REGISTER 360
Just returning from HxGN LIve in Las Vegas where they had demos and classes on Register 360. It is a little brother of Cyclone. We were told those that have a current CCP of Register you will be able to get the 360 version. Pretty fast. Cylone 9.1.6 we were told will be 2x as fast for imports.

Re: Leica Cyclone REGISTER 360
Correct: if you have a current CCP for Cyclone Register, you will have access to Register 360. You cannot run them concurrently, but data will be interchangeable between the packages. More details on this will follow soon.Rikore wrote: ↑Mon Jun 19, 2017 3:28 pm Just returning from HxGN LIve in Las Vegas where they had demos and classes on Register 360. Ability to push data directly to JetStream, TruView (class, global and cloud), plus other 3rd party formats in one "hit" is most welcome.
The reporting feature was exciting to many at HxGN Live also.
It offers full multi-threading across all cores, where your machine supports this.
Great complimentary solution for BLK360 and ScanStation also.
What does everyone make of the new look interface?
