360 Panoramic Video Support
Pleased to announce the latest release of Arena4D Data Studio (3.3.0).
The most exciting new feature is the ability to create 360 panoramic videos straight from the software without the need for 3rd party stitching software.
The 360 videos can also be created in split screen 3D for immersive use on VR headsets.
You can also generate standalone single panoramic screenshots.
As ever, this is a free update to all those Arean4D Data Studio owners and those with an Animation subscription.
Over the next few days we will be uploading example videos created from Arena4D, so watch this space!

Re: 360 Panoramic Video Support
It is absolutely fantastic that you paid attention to what people wanted in the relevant threads earlier, and then delivered results quickly and cost effectively.
You're really being a role model for a lot of companies that should be doing the same thing.

Re: 360 Panoramic Video Support
Thanks for the samples Mark. Another excellent new feature for Arena4D... I have to agree with Tommy - great service! The previous method for creating 360 videos worked OK but it was a bit of a hassel having to use/buy two additional pieces of software. Now we can do entirely within Arena4D it makes life a lot easier. From my initial testing the results are looking great

Re: 360 Panoramic Video Support
Mark, great you got the feature added. It was a real pain exporting to separate videos then stitching them together again like we did on our Kelpies video for LASiris VR.
I can still see a faint transparent cube outline in the background behind the points. Is this something you can fix?
Well done,
Neil.

In both the samples above I turned on point cloud lighting which may introduce small discrepancies between stitches because of how the lighting is applied. Perhaps enabling the anti aliasing will smooth it out. Certainly turning off lighting will ensure there's no border artefacts.
Many Thanks
