Hi all. we have a laser scanner without internal camera (zf 5010) and at this time we use nodal ninja and a nikon reflex to colorized point cloud. but this workflow it's too slow. we're looking for istar. and now our question: anyone out there use istar and zf with laser control? maybe, if someone has an istar pano image and the relative pointcloud to share with us we will try to colorized point cloud with laser control. thank you Gabrio

Hi Gabrio,
You will need the correct adaptor to place the iSTAR at the same height as the scanner.
LSE have a good diagram and parts number here:
http://www.laserscanning-europe.com/en/ ... ch-scanner
Combine the scandata and iSTAR data together in NCTech ColourCloud.

Re: iStar and Z+F Imager 5010: how it works?
Gabrio,
I have a small point cloud (4 stations) with 4 iSTAR accompanying images (With the 6 cube faces from an import into cyclone.
What format would you want the cloud in.
We were renting the iSTAR to test it out. The guys forgot to push a certain sequence on the iSTAR for the other 8 stations, though, so I now have a bunch of encrypted iSTAR binary image files that I can't use. The first 4 should be helpful (with the matching clouds) to test though if that is what you want to do.
