Another option is to manually create a point cloud around those holes in Excel (x,y,z,rgb). Then export it to a txt file and import it into your software.
This, a mesh is also easier to clean.

I was wondering if there was some copy/paste feature that I could grab clean floor and fit/overlay it into the holes - what's the workflow for doing this? Would i need to export the clean floor by limit box and import and register it to the scan with the hole?
Hi,
You can use OpenScanTools, a free software, to pick some areas on the floor, and then use them as patches.
It is fast and efficient.
Feel free to send me a message and I'll show you how to do.

Interesting, I'll check this out, thanks!
