Editing the Site Model

Post by MCorey »

Hello,
I am trying to add custom attributes to a room in my site model, specifically to change the color of the room "overlay" that appears on the map/floor plan navigation window. The purpose is to call out specific areas of the floor plan by using the rooms feature, and would like a way to distinguish between multiple areas by color. We know that an alternative to this would through uploading a DFX, but doing it through the site model would be more accessibly done for us as well as clients. Navvis's site documentation describes how custom attributes can be added but does not go into detail about what can specifically be changed in the site model, I am hoping editing the rooms is possible through this method? Any advice or experience with using the custom attributes would be appreciated, thank you
