E57 Import Problems

Hey Guys,

I'm trying to import and register point clouds from scanners other than Faro (Trimble X12) in Faro Scene, but after preprocessing, the panoramic images of the scans in the Thumbnails are only displayed as region scans and not as full dome scans. In the 3D view, I can see the point clouds completely, but there are multiple stations that contain artifacts. I've tried exporting and importing the E57 files from various software, but they are not being read correctly. What could be causing this issue? Can anyone provide guidance on how to resolve it?

Its impossible to register Cloud to cloud this way.

Where did you get the E57 files from?
TBC or Realworks?
Because we had sometimes challenges to get a structured E57 out of TBC...
And this sounds exactly like this issue, that you got an unstructured point cloud.

I exported from Realworks and tried importing to Faro Scene.

I then tried to import e57 to cyclone register without problems then export to e57 and import again in Faro scene and i had exact the same issues .

When you bring the e57 files into SCENE you are processing them without colorization right? (because they are already in color)

No I Scanned without color only intensity
