I want to share with you the latest job we have done so far. Five levels of office building, 237,000 sq ft (22,000 sqm), 868 scans with Z+F 5016A, Z+F Laser control V9.34- all C2C registered within 2.91mm.The next step, Revit model.

Nice!!! Out of curiosity, did you capture imagery with all the setups as well? What were the typical scan densities used for the setups (~how many millions of points per setup). How big was the project size in the end (GB and how many Billions of points in the end)?

You won`t need imaging and colorized point cloud for this kind of job unless it is stated by the client. The resolution is between 12.6 mm@10 m ( took 1.30 minutes) and 6mm@10 m it took 3 minutes.
The file sizes are very reasonable as well. the 6mm scan file are 340 MB and 10mm is 85mb.

what is the best way to handle 1000 scans in a single overview? also, how do we check the registration after completing the registration of 1000 scans? FYI, we have to scan the whole plant(we segregated the plant into small units, the total number of scans will be more than 5000), every unit's point cloud should match with each other within 5mm.
I would love to hear if you have any suggestions for me. This is really chalanging for me.
