Haven't heard of it Phil but will have a look when I get a few moments. I think multi-platform mobile mapping is certainly the way forward, where you can use the same device on a backpack, vehicle, drone etc... but the units out there I've seen to date don't offer the same precision or accuracy as higher end dedicated units. Really difficult to say much more about this kit until we see some sample data.

Saw this kit at Geoweek and talked extensively with Stephane Lissilour about it.

Nothing on the cloud, all own data. I was very impressed. Seemed like an ideal solution for both indoors as outdoors (with pictures).

Yes, looked very good. The top puck is used to create a 2d floorplan to use for slam routing. The puck at the bottom is more advanced and does the scanning. You can set it on a trolley, backpack,....

The booth was small so only the hardware was there. I do believe they have their own software on dongle. It is a French based company.

Just heard from AndyBrooke and there should be one in the UK in April...
