New Faro As-Built Suite

Post by surveypm »

So how do folks feel about the combination of all the As-Built software into one suite and the new licensing requirements?

When did this happen, I didn't even know. So current as built modeler and as built for autocad how will that work going forward we have revit but dont really use it.

I wish I would get updates when stuff like this happens, I'm pretty sure I'm on subscription that we keep renewing. Was any updates done so you can model rectangular ductwork like some of the others like edgewise that has had it for a long time.

Seems like faro as built is lagging behind on innovations.. doesnt it?

I got an email on 1/31/22 with the notice.

I agree with the lack of added model content like ductwork and there is a lack of good tools to model manufacturing equipment like conveyors.

1. The information about conversion of licences into As-Built Suite subscriptions like posted above was communicated either to end users or FARO distributors.
2. The As-Built team today launched the new version of the Revit PlugIn As-Built for Revit 2022.1, now enabling customers to extract ducts from point cloud data.
