Been one day yesterday and here are my thoughts.
3 exhibition halls in Essen where Hall 3 was the most pleasant to walk around in, nicest stands. Hall 1 and 2 were more standard booths with desks from the Messe itself.
Way less total surface to visit, compared to Frankfurt and Stuttgart. Lot's of people staying away because of Covid restrictions when re-entering the country.
Some people with masks but not a lot.
If it was your first time there it would be like huge but for me i just went and visited my suppliers and had a look around a few booths. Now lot's of drones which i don't care much for so i didn't spend time there.
I found it not crowded at all but had some nice conversations with a few Linkedin connections and spoke with the reps which are important for me.
All in all i had a pleasant day with some ideas and new knowledge to implement in my business.

Lieven, very good that you made this thread because I wanted to make one myself
This year, I did not participate live in the exhibition, but I tried to follow the news through the intergeo.digital portal. But somehow, everything seems unfinished there, it's hard to navigate and understand what's happening there... Has anyone else tried watching the intergeo.digital channels? It would be good to hear your opinion, is such a "Digital" version of the exhibition useful at all?
