We buy what I think is the AEC bundle for Register 360, CloudWorx Ultimate, and Publisher Pro for 1 year durations, but the CloudWorx Ultimate portion is ~3k per year (for all the applications included), so ~$250 a month for all apps based off a subscription. Some quick google searches show just the CloudWorx for CAD as ~$1900/year.

Maybe ask for a demo or trial license? Those last usually 15 days... Ask again when it's up, . Either way, $680/month is pretty nuts. Worth checking with another resaler maybe?

That is a bit expensive for one month of use. What are you trying to accomplish? Maybe we can suggest some less expensive alternatives.

Can you get an RCS or RCP? That'll work natively in all Autodesk apps. If you have Regsiter 360, you can convert the LGS file into an RCS or RCP as well. Or are you planning on using CloudWorx in conjunction with an RCP?

I understand that I can you an RCP file but Cloudworx does now good tricks an I prefer having cloud and photos in one file

I am use the cloud points as layout for site plans and elevations

The pano views and 3d cloud points are valuable to me

Well, the software does promise to save a lot of manual modelling work (even though it may also require a fair amount of human oversight to weed out interpretation/recognition errors).

How does it compare to EdgeWise as far as automation goes?

You'd have to use it quite a lot to justify the cost and probably most smaller engineering offices are running fewer than 10 concurrent projects. As-builting in preparation for new equipment/piping installations doesn't generally take too much time, so my guess is that the software could remain unused for long periods.

They probably don't offer a pay-per-use option, I'm guessing.
