I would have really enjoyed the opportunity to develop this model to a higher level. However, the as-built was created for a pretty basic HVAC upgrade so the extra time modeling wasn't feasible on this project.

Matt, after you mentioned modeling the column I remembered that I had done a little "playing around" with modeling some of their features before really digging in on the bulk of the actual work. Here's a quick screen capture from AutoCAD showing the column base
