You can create a project point cloud (PPC), and it will tell you the number of points in the Project window of the User Interface, as shown in the attached picture. You can also click on the properties of individual scans to tell you how many points are in each scan. I do agree there needs to be a way to count the number of points per cluster, and have easier statistics access.

A project point cloud are making but it requires much capacity of drive and time to process because there are 64 scans.
Are there alternative methods ?

Has there been a change recently (SCENE 2019.2.4)?
RMB click > Properties does not tell me the number of points for a scan and I'm failing to find this information anywhere.

I haven't looked at this in a little while, but when I did a few months ago PPC was the only way to do it within Scene

Open the scan in cloudcompare (its a freeware), it will tell you the number of points in properties

Side note: CloudCompare is not a freeware (it's open source and can be used freely, but we still need the active support of users )
