Hello all,
I am running the latest version of Scene (2020.0.4) and have been experiencing an issue with clipping boxes and how they interact with the Ortho Photo tool. Generally my Ortho process starts with a PPC, a visible clipping box aptly named "Ortho", and then a variety of other, invisible clipping boxes. These are named "Hide, Hide1, Hide2" etc. Their purpose is obvious; they hide the pieces of a model I wish to exclude from the Ortho Photo. With the newest update, it seems that these invisible clipping boxes will remain active, but only until I generate an Ortho photo. When That process is initiated the clipping boxes are:
1 - Made inactive and useless
2 - Their contents are decimated and remain present for the Ortho "Camera"
This results in images that contain unwanted data that looks poorly rendered. See the attached screenshots. I have also included a screenshot that has the manipulators for all clipping boxes made visible, to better illustrate my intentions.
Any help towards a solution is much appreciated. I may just have to download the previous version of Scene and go from there.
Many thanks!

I don't have a solution for you but wanted to acknowledge your post as being:
FWIW, we have experienced peculiar behavior for years with orthophoto generation. Once upon a time Orthophotos supported clearview settings but that was lost in some version upgrade so we abandoned that workflow. (perhaps its back working in more recent upgrades?).
As a workaround until this issue is addresses, you could consider another software solution outside of Scene.

sreed,
Thanks for the recognition, I appreciate it!
What are some alternative software that you have had success with? ATM I am taking ortho photos in 'layers' and then using my mediocre photoshop skills to provide a wholly combined image.
