Hi.
I've just completed a project with a C10 of approximately 150 scans, but about 20 scanworlds in the middle have no targets when loaded into cyclone. The target scan files are there in the raw data, and I can import the individual target scan files then copy/paste them into the controlspace of the relevant scan, so the data is definitely there.
Does anyone have any ideas why Cyclone isn't importing the targets for these 20 scanworlds? I've tried downloading the data from the C10 a couple of times to make sure it downloaded correctly, and also tried importing the files into dummy projects in Cyclone with the same result each time.
I don't want to have to spend a whole day manually importing these individual files if I don't have to!
Thanks.

Re: Cyclone not importing some C10 target scans
Hi Stephen,
Did the C10 freeze up on you at any point during that part of the scanning? This has happened to us once or twice and I think that although the target .bin files are present they are not written to the .ini file correctly.

If you don't see that there is nothing, then you are kidding yourself.

Have you checked in the ScanWorld Explorer? (Tools/Scanner/ScanWorld Explorer)
I've had instances where target & detail scans were imported but their visibility was turned off.
Once I checked the visibility box on they would display in modelspace views.

Re: Cyclone not importing some C10 target scans
It sounds like your missing the "target" and not the actual "fine scan" from the target acquisition.
I bet you didn't click the green check mark when you acquired the targets from that scan location.
If this is true.
in each model-space - add back in all the fine acquisition scans and then fit the target manually to each.
It shouldn't take you longer than an hour for the 20 scans - if your doing it efficiently.

Re: Cyclone not importing some C10 target scans
Hi.
While this is an old thread, I try to get an answer here, since I have got myself into the same trouble: I did not click the check after acquiring my targets, only hit OK (I thought OK means accepted). The subscan files are available in the raw data, however, when importing the project into cyclone, the target subscans are missing. Similair result in Cyclone Register 360: the targets are listed and visible in the cloud, however, their icon have a red cross, and the targets cannot be used.
My question is: how to import manually those missing subscans (bin files) into Cyclone? Same about Register 360: is there any way to make the targets working?
Btw, I used a Leica P40 scanner.
Thank you!

Andras
If you have the bin files, a horrible workaround is here.
