Hi,
I updated my control (target) file and re-imported it into register 360. I then tried to apply it into a previously registered cloud to improve the accuracy but it crashes every time I 'apply control'. What can I do with this? Do I need to completely re-import and re-target the scans?
Thanks for the help in advance

Re: Register 360 crashing when I apply control
If you're running the 2023.0.0 version of Register 360, I'd downgrade to the previous 2022.1.0 version as there are some known bugs with the 23 version and when it applies control. The 22 version doesn't have any of those bugs with control so a few of us are going that route. For us though, it's when you re-apply control it can increase the error and re-applying again only makes it worse until you remove it and then apply control from scratch again. Leica did say they're hoping to get a hotfix update out either this week or next for Register 360 2023.
With your control and target errors, try bumping up your target error in the settings to several feet to see if you have some issues with the control .txt file you're using. Every once in a while when I'm given the wrong coordinates for my control file and I apply them, I'll run into issues with Reg360 not being able to match/apply control and targets, so by upping the target error a lot you can verify if there are any incorrect points and which ones to delete out of your control file or to disable them in the controls panel after you're able to apply control.
