Fail to receive permission to connect to server

My company has installed new servers recently and with that came the hope that we can centralize our databases so we don’t have copies all over the place.

With the servers up and running. I seem to be running into connection issues all the time. We get an error “failed to receive permission to connect” error. The client can hit other servers with data bases and it’s been hit or miss on connecting to new ones. One day I can get them to work. Then the next the error above. The clients are able to pull licenses off the same server for cyclone access and the servers are on the network for file storage.

I am working with both 9.4 and 9.3.2 and run into issues with both versions.

Could it be an issue with the license for server client privileges? My license manager has the server client licenses in use by the respective server.

Is there logs that are being written to parse through? I am super frustrated and a bit lost. I am open to any ideas.

Clients on windows 10. Servers are Microsoft server 2016.
