"Fly Mode" command in Leica Cyclone

Post by Shivakumar »

Hello Everyone,

I have been using Leica cyclone from last 4 years, and couple of days ago I upgrade to 9.1.5 version. I saw Fly mode in toolbar I was very excited to use this command, actually, I needed this fly command in Leica Cyclone for QC and some other process, finally it has updated. When I use the fly command in a cyclone with point cloud and model it’s not going smoothly. When I use a fly command with the only model it’s going smoothly. Anyone having the same problem or it’s happening for me only. Is there any solution?

Thanks and regards
Shiva

I haven't had an opportunity to learn the fly mode yet, but I am curious of your initial thoughts. Does it look nice when it's running smoothly, and can you save the fly through to a video that can be played at a later time?

You can try to increase the preference "max load points" to 50 or 100 million points if your computer has larger memory.
