Evening Everyone,
I've recently been thrust into LFM as one of our clients requested an LFD deliverable. We've been getting on OK and managed to create and deliver the LFD dataset in UTM but now they want the pointcloud on local grid. We do now have the local grid co-ordinates for the scan locations etc but I have no idea how to drop the pointcloud onto the new co-ordinate system.
Can anyone advise how i might convert the LFD on to local grid? Its time critical and I really dont want to import a new pointcloud and generate a whole new LFD (last time it took days).
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
James

Hi James,
If you're using the LFM Server 4.4.2 series you can use a feature called Named Coordinate Systems and deliver the new .lfm file to your customer (assuming they're not using the data inside E3D). There's a video on how to use this feature here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Twc8kxHNHWg
