Does anyone have any experience whit this scanner? I have few questions
1. Does it need laptop to operate?
2. If I'm looking Leica spec sheets I can see time for one scan, how long it's going to take for this one?

Re: Surphaser applications and technical information
Hi Michael, would it be possible to post raw data for say an mining bucket or something similar instead of the fence and the retaining wall?
Cheers, Bas.

Re: Surphaser applications and technical information
Hi Bas,
I'm with Australia's Surphaser distribution company and my background is scanning for the past 11 years from small (teeth) to large (buildings) from a design/engineering perspective, not surveying.
I've got a customer here in Australia that is using the Surphaser for a range of engineering applications including bucket scanning. It achieves very high true resolution and accuracy. He's had a look at other survey scanners and the data quality is significantly different.
I can't upload anything they've done either as images or sample, but we can organise a sample scan for you or use something that has similar details / size (say the side of a truck or train carriage).
Regards,
Ben
