Surphaser and Military Vehicles

Post by PHughes »

Has anyone had the opportunity to use the Surphaser to scan military vehicles? I am wondering if the colour scheme of NATO green will yield poor results from the scan.

I have had some experiences of using the Surphaser for other vehicles (black and shiny new!) which didn't work out as planned so I am hoping that someone can reassure me that the matt paint will give a good return.

I think I can get my hands on a 50 HSX or a 25 HSX if that makes a difference? Also on that note has anyone been using the new Model 10 yet for their projects? Would be interested to see some data if anyone can share with the forum.

Regards

Patrick

I`ve scanned a few military vehicles with a HDS6200 and have had excellent results, and would expect a Surphaser to do the same... ;)

I scanned a bunch of military tanks years ago, but it was with a 2500! Still have the data somewhere.
If you don't see that there is nothing, then you are kidding yourself.

I bet that was hard work with a 2500, in the field and in the office... ;)
