I am logged into the Bentley and I am on the Selectservices and I still cannot see the beta version for the 64bit software. Can you send me a direct link? I'm fed up with the program crashing every time I want to produce an animation and I am hopeful that the 64bit will fix this issue.fj-Bentley wrote:Hi Nick,
Yes the Beta is definitely in Bentley Selectservices downloads. Try this link:

Sadly the beta doesn't fix that problem . But you can stop it crashing by setting memory use to 0 before rendering. I had awful problems with crashing and it hasn't ever crashed with the 0 memory setting.jm1706 wrote: I'm fed up with the program crashing every time I want to produce an animation and I am hopeful that the 64bit will fix this issue.

Hi Jim,
If you are a Bentley SELECT user and cannot access downloads please raise a service request via the Service Request Manager under SELECTservices on http://selectservices.bentley.com/en-US/. Here we will be able to check your entitlement and ensure you have access to download any application that your login should allow.
I will arrange for a download link for Bentley Pointools V8i SELECTseries 1 (beta 1) to be sent direct to your email address.
Please note that this is a Technology Preview and should not be considered a commercial release.

Thanks I will give this ago. I have played around the memory options before but I never had any success.dan_mccurdy wrote:Sadly the beta doesn't fix that problem .
