No option to render stereoscopic anaglpyh anymore ?

Postby dan_mccurdy » Tue Aug 16, 2016 6:03 am

Hi everyone. I have just noticed that my version of Pointools doesn't seem to offer the option to show anaglyph 3D (red/blue) anymore. I have always used this in the past with no problems, so I'm not sure why it's not there. Could it be because I changed my video card to a newer one (switched from a GTX 670 to a GTX 960)? Is there something I need to turn on to activate the option ? Apparently the option to turn it on should be in the "General - Stereo" tab in settings - but it's not there for me.

My version is 02.00.02.30. Does anyone else on this version have anaglyph capability ?

I note that there is no a longer reference to stereoscopic viewing in the manual (as of Bentley Pointools V8i Update 1), whereas it is in the manual (page 84) for version 02.00.01.00. Has Bentley removed this feature without telling us ? They still advertise it as a feature in their brochure (although this is possibly an old brochure) :

The option for 3D Stereo is currently not available in the 64 bit version of Bentley Pointools.
