Re: amberg users
Hi Phil
I imported a HDS6000 pointcloud into TMS Tunnel.
I extrated profil with TMS profit
There is a lot of work to do to clean it.
I wonder if it was possible to clean several profil at a time ( because the same noise data appears in consecutive profiles) ?
Is it possible to reject isolated point after profil generation ?

Re: amberg users
Hi Oliver,
It is possible to delete (MASK) points in the scan data (Map view). After the masking these points are not visible in the profile data so do not show after the export.
I hope this helps?

Hi Phil
I don't find where to mask these points.
In which module ? ProFit ? scanrex ? scancloud ?
Is it possible to mask for ALL profils ?

Hi
I realized you probably tought about scanCloud.
As a matter of fact it is possible in this module to mask scan data but AFTER processing
The problem is that I have huge quantity of data in this scan and the process is very very long
So I try to generate profils without surface data processing.
That 's why I try to clean data before data processing.
Do you know a method to mask these points BEFORE data processing ?

Re: amberg users
Hi,
in TMS you can't mask point before data processing. But to have a quick results from processing you can try to use the "Quick Processing" option in the "Processing Parameters".
With this option you can reduce the cloud projection to obtain quick results (for example directly in the tunnel).
I hope this can help you.

Re: amberg users
This option is available in TMS version from:
1.9.0.0 [approximately October 2009]
You can find the "Quick Processing" option opening "Scans" in the Workspace of TMSOffice, then go the menù:
"scans" >>> "processing parameters"
In this window you can see it (in the bottom part of the window).
Ciao
